I've had a few small wow moments that others have mentioned...fitting in clothes that I've had forever and was never small enough to wear, catching myself in the mirror and thinking "wow, that's me", and having the extra energy and the desire to get up and do things.
But the first Wow moment that made me cry for a minute happened in Church yesterday...twice. We were signing during Praise time and I got a tap on the shoulder. One of the ladies that that sits a few rows up from us tapped me on the shoulder. When I turned around she had a huge smile on her face. She said, "you look awesome! You've really lost some weight." She asked if I was still doing Weight Watchers and I told her the truth (which has been coming easier). She was so excited for me that she hugged me again.
The second time was also yesterday in church. It was my husband and my turn to teach Childrens Church. As the little ones were being dismissed to their parents, on of the mom's came up to me and told me that her son (middle school age) noticed and pointed out to her that I'd really lost a lot of weight. She said that she thought I needed to know that they thought it was awesome and that I looked great!
Can I just say I love the people in my church!
