Talking I made it to the Century Club!!!!!!!

I am so happy to be joining the Century Club and can hardly believe I'm down 103 lbs! I am now in a size 12 pants which is pretty good for my large frame. I totally skipped 14s and I only have 15 more lbs to reach my goal! When I told my husband that I had 15 more to go he said I was getting too skinny because he could feel my ribcage and hip bones. (I just think he forgets what a normal person feels like!) I really want to lose ALL my extra weight because I know there is a certain average amount of weight gain that you usually get further out. Am I being unrealistic?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Lose all your body will let you. 10-15% regain over the next year or two is not unusual. I bottomed out at 159 and am currently in the 170s. I've been here for several years, though, and my body is happy here. So I am too!

Way to go on the loss!! That CC badge sure looks good, doesn't it?

So what advise can you share with the newbies who now look up to you as a role model and hero? Any words of wisdom or thoughts on your new life?

(BTW - be very glad your hubby doesn't know what a "normal" woman feels like!!)

Hey CT, I don't know about me being a hero but as a role model I would advise all newbies to never give up... even when the going gets really tough. The life you can live is one with fewer medications, more energy, more self confidence, and most importantly your health. Enjoy the victory's of being able to climb stairs without getting winded, of bending over with ease to tie your shoe laces, of crossing your legs, or riding on an amusement park ride and fit! Take life by the horns and live it!

And CT, I use to be normal when I first married my DH.
PS How are you and Peanut doing.... you're in my prayers.

Judi, I talked with some of the nurses yesterday afternoon. We all agreed that it still looked like she was listening to the voices, although she denied their existence. Today she told me she was still hearing them, and I told her she had to stay in until they're gone.

She wants to come home. Don't blame her, and I'd kinda like to have her here, but this is her 4th weekend in because of the mayhem those voices wreaked in her head the last few times she came home early.

Still haven't been able to quantify the dementia any further. Looks like I'll be burning up the highway again this weekend to visit her. I think the highlight of her life there is when I bring in a few baggies of our homemade protein bars!

What I meant was agreeing with you that it's a good thing he's forgotten what a "normal" woman feels like! Peanut thought I was getting to be skin and bones as I approached goal, too. She'd forgotten what a rib cage felt like, but I just waited until my body stabilized at its goal.
