 |  I Finally Have Seen Everything, I Think!!
Last Friday, my oldest daughter injured herself playing volleyball. She tore her calf muscle from it's tendon. She has strict orders from her doc to stay off that leg, and use crutches when she has to, or else she will need to have it surgically repaired. Since then, she has not been able to even drive or clean her house. She called me on Saturday, full of fear and anger, and asked if I could come clean up her place and get her some groceries. I also have been making a 40 mile round-trip sometimes twice a day, to take her to work and my grand-daughter to school, then back again at 5 to get them. My youngest daughter has been picking her up when she can, too. This morning, when I went to get her, she was unusually quiet. When I got to the hospital to drop her off at work, she put her hand on my arm and said, "Mom, I never tell you how much I appreciate what you have always done for me, not just now with this situation. You were always there when we needed you, no matter how old we were! I know I have been mean to you about your wls, but you seem so happy and healthy now, and I'm happy for you. If this would have happened to me last year, it would have been hard for you to do all the running you do now, because you didn't feel good either.But I know you would have done it anyway. I love you so much and I'm sorry for being a pain in the ass to you for the past year!"
HUHHHH? I almost fell out of the car. I just told her that I was doing what all good mothers do, and got her crutches and helped her out of the car and into her work. But once I was alone, I pulled over and had a good cry!! Most people here know the struggles I have had with my daughters over alot of things, but my oldest would rather eat dirt than admit when she was wrong! Her apology took me by surprise and just made my day!!!!!

I am so happy for you, I hope my daughter will come around one day, she is not for the surgery at all.....she said yesterday, omg you will be skinnier than me!
