 |  First and foremost an update on my son! and my WOW moment!!
Beau had his ct scan and scope surgery! His ct scan showed nothing to worry about!! It is a common cyst and no need for concern thank god and you guys for your prayers!! His proceedure showed an inflamed urethra and a narrowing in his epidi tube! Both they are going to just keep an eye on! So no real answers to his condition but no bad ones either!! Thank you all soo much for the prayers!!
Now my WOW moment!! When I have a check up I see my surgeons under study! I could see my surgeon if I want or have questions for him or if anything is going on the under study would make an appointment with him ect! So anyways he hasnt seen me since my couple of week check up and I am now over 7 months post op! Well yesterday he was at the hospital and I said hi he gave me a strange look he didnt even recognize me! After I said that he walked over and said no I didnt and that is a good thing!! He then had me stand up and was so excited after he realized who I was he knew my name (that was a shock to me he has a ton of patients and remembered my name and even that my surgery was 6 or 7 months ago) he also had to show me off to a patient headed in to surgery ect...

Oh, Shawn, I am so happy to hear about Beau!! What a great early Christmas gift.
My surgeon and their whole staff remember their patients, and it is a great feeling! I don't know how they do it, because everyone changes so much, but at least it shows that they really care!!!!

Peanut started her WLS process about the time I reached goal. When we finally had the meeting with the surgeon, he walked in and introduced himself to me. I told that I'd already met him, he was the one who gave me my life back. Well, of course he then had to pull me up in the system and he was blown away when he saw my old "Before" shot they took when I started with them!
Our surgeons can get confused easily, because we change so drastically in that first year! But they love it when one of us comes back and shows them the new us!!
