Last night I cared for my 8 year old grand-daughter. We played Barbies, Chutes and Ladders, and had a pillow fight. I was able to sit on the floor for hours with her and her dolls and the games; something I could never do before!! When I left, she threw her arms around me, then squealed, "Bubbie, look!!! I can grab my hands behind your back. I can give you a real hug now!" Indeed she could! I looked at her hugging me in the foyer mirror, and I was overwhelmed! With this little girl's ability to reach around my waist, came the realization that some Wow moments have been for her, too!!!
