 |  Deja-Vu? NOT!!!!
Last year at this time I remember going to my grand-daughter's Christmas program. I had to squeeze between a big pillar and the pew to get a seat, and I'll never forget what happened! I got stuck!!! In front of a whole church of people no less! My dh and daughters had to push and pull me to keep moving. I made my decision that night that I was going to have wls, no matter how long it took me!!
Last night was her Christmas program. I went right to the aisle I got stuck in last year. But this time I moved gracefully past that darn pillar and sat down like a queen being crowned! I crossed my new boot- clad legs, sat on my short skirted hiney and was smiling, but I had tears in my eyes, remembering the humiliation of last year, and feeling the triumph of this year! It was so overwhelming! Next Monday I am chaperoning my grand-daughter's class trip! I never would have volunteered to do that. We are going...get this..roller skating!!!!!!! I havent done that in 30 years!! Life is so good, even though I'm facing some challenges of a personal nature right now. But I know God is good!

Way to go !!! That is wonderful. You have done so well. I know how you feel. My moment was when I went to watch my grandchild cheer and had to be carried back to my car in an emergency vehicle because I almost passed out. Talk about embarrassing. My knees gave under with all the weight they had to carry. Then I had a doctor tell me that there is no way I could have knee replacement surgery because of my weight and that I would be in a wheel chair or walker for the rest of my life. Boy was that doctor wrong. This surgery can really change our life.
I know your family is proud of you. Keep up the good work. Many more great wows to come for you.
