 |  I wore some of my old jeans today
I never got rid of my "skinny" clothes. For some reason I always thought I might get into them again...I don't know why. But I just kept letting them take up space in my clothes. Well, today I put on an old pair of jeans...size 14 and they fit! I was so excited. I wanna go out and buy a couple of pairs of jeans so I can march around the house (or outside) in pants! I am getting tired of only having 1 pair of pants!!!
But I never thought these pants would see the light of day again!

yay!! congrats!!! My mom told me my pants were too big today - yes I know this... then she said 'you know, you do what drives your aunt crazy, you wear loose clothes thinking it'll 'hide' your weight, but it doesn't work'... I said, no, I don't do that - I bought this size because the size down was too small and these FIT when I bought them. I do not TRY to hide my weight by wearing loose clothes, BUT nor do I wear clothes that are too tight....
my mom is not being particularly supportive right now.

I had saved my skinny clothes for years in my attic. I would occassionally go up there and look at some of them and would actually grieve over how I used to look and feel. Eventually I gave all of my skinny clothes to a clothing drive. It was a good thing, though. while at the clothing give a way, a man was able to take home all 7 pair of brand new mens Levi jeans (I love men's Levi jeans on me when I am thin). He needed the jeans more than my atttic did. So, now I will be looking forward to buying new ones.
Congrats on your weight loss. such wonderful news.
And... Perfesser...you are a hoot!

I don't know that I'll ever get down to that size, but I'll be happy to get out of the 20's... right now, I'm anywhere from a 28 to a 32 depending upon the pants!
