Default First time in 4-5 years I have cooked something

For the past 4-5 years I have not cooked anything my husband did the cooking. Cooking always made my back and feet hurt. I would also get cranky from cooking due to being in pain. So, today I finally made myself & my husband some scrambled eggs today. It actually felt good to finally be able to cook and best part is not to be in pain. Being in front of the hot eye made me also drink water. My husband shocked me by saying the eggs were awesome.

This weekend I will be cooking a roast in my Mom's crock pot. She wanted to wait about the roast until my stepdad returned from Georgia so he could have some too.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

well done!! my dh does most of the cooking because he's home during the day - I cook occasionally, but he does the bulk of it - we're working on teaching the girls to cook as well - we BOTH do that.

Good for you!! There are dozens of great crockpot recipes in our forum. All are easy to make, WLS-compliant and taste like you slaved over a hot stove for hours! Ask hubby to buy you a slow cooker. Bribe him with visions of cooking-yet-to-come. That's one of the best ways to his heart!

we us our slow cooker quite often - I recently replaced my pressure cooker with an electric pressure cooker (actually ordered it while still in the icu the day after my surgery)

we've learned that it's also a slow cooker - woo hoo! we're going to have fun with this!

Need to have my hubby check out the recipe forum.

We actually have a 1.5 quart crock pot and a 2 quart crock pot. That is how he cooked me a pot roast this summer.
