10,101 steps!today,my WOW moment! I absolutely cannot believe i did it. i hate exercise of any kind. This is such a strange feeling for me. I just kept walking and was listening to my MP3 player and enjoying the sunshine (by the way, sunblock burns when it drips into your eyes). I now have a new goal of keeping my steps recorded everyday as well and my meals, water and blood sugars. I am such a good girl!!! YEAH ME!!!

WOW is right!!! congratulations on this HUGE accomplishment. I too do not like exercise at all BUT i like the feeling afterwords and often times I get lost in the music as well ESPECIALLY now that I have a piece of equipment in my home. It's kind of like a high once you finish. keep up the good work.

thanks Kenya, I so love the MP3...it makes all the difference in even having the will to go on. I think I might have even sweat too. I know I need a shower before bed tonight...usually am a morning shower gal. Thanks for the boost of confidence. Good luck to you as well.

WOW just another benefit of the surgery!
THE bursts of energy!
thats too cool....
as for the sunscreen yes it burns the eyes
when sweating and it runs in the eyes...
banana boat has come out with (last summer )
TEAR FREE sunscreen, i recommend it for the
the toddlers in my daycare program...for he reason
of sunscreen getting in the eyes on hot days ...
anyway glad to hear you got lost in your walking and
journaling your journey is awesome!
kudos!

Thanks Lisa, by the way...you have been such an inspiration to me. I got onboard with the carb detox and just seeing your recent updated picture makes me want to succeed as well. Even last September when I first got onboard here, that was 6+ months before my surgey, You always made me feel like I could do this too. I can't thank Craig enough for this wonderful site. I have made friends with so many lovely people here and know without question that I am able to make this work only by the grace of God and all the wonderful people now in my life. I THANK YOU ONE AND ALL! (HEY, DOES WALKING 10,000 STEPS MAKE YOU SYRUPY OR WHAT?)

Wow. Congratulations!! Isn't it a wonderful feeling to just bask in the sun and "communicating" with nature, God's glory. And you get in all the music and exercise, too. There is no better bargain. Quote:
