Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  Ladies... I dont mean to exclude the men at all. I just think that for this thread in particular, women could relate. Today was day 2 of going out. I went shopping for "underthings" because, well quite frankly, the girls have begun to disappear...  So I went over to the rack and picked up the size i used to wear just out of sheer routine. 44DD. made my way to the register and looked at the tag. needless to say back to the rack i went. I picked up a few sizes and went into the fitting room. i started trying them on 42DD, 40DD....all the way down to 36D!  Now I havent bought a bra at all since my surgery. But do you have any idea how amazing it is to buy one WITHOUT extra shoulder padding?? or with a REGULAR back clasp thingy?? All of my old bras have like 4 or more clips on the back clasp. the ones i bought today all have two clips...this is unreal. It was also cool to get underwear that DON'T go all the way up over my belly button LOL! they make things a lot "cuter" in smaller sizes(if you know what i mean) I know I'm not by any means anywhere near my goal, but it feels so good to be in "normal" size clothes. To not have to shop and Lane Bryant and be limitted to just that one store. I can shop anywhere now. And I came home and literally cried this afternoon. Because I never thought I'd ever get here...

Well I found the cutest dress. It was a size 11/13 JUNIORS. Not womans, not misses, but Juniors! Let alone the size 11/13. The last size I bought B4 this was 16 misses. Its a cute little sundress. HMMMM who would have thought I would ever be wearing a cute little sundress in that size.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Congrats Amy!!! it's funny how the little things make us happy!! sometimes i go to walmart and try on the stuff there too just to get a guage on what stuff i can fit into too. like belts, i need them now because i honestly havent bought much at all post op. i am wearing things from when i was smaller but to go from a 2X in belts to regular size belt with ROOM TO SPARE is truly amazing. congrats to everybody who notices a change no matter how little, its still yours. ENJOY IT!!!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Yeah, the girls are disappearing for all of us, and although I could stand to lose a few sizes, it is still odd. I need some new bras, but was overwhelmed today at Walmart. My mom said we could do some sewing on some of my good ones for awhile. I also needed underwear and kinda flipped out there as well. I did get a roteisseire chicken (lemon pepper) that had just came out of the oven and it was so tender and so good. Good protein as well. Way to go, Kenyar! I hope I can go buy some new bras before my vacation on Sunday or else the girls are going to be to my knees! LOL!
