Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Healthier Today Another WOW moment for me -- I opened my mail last night. I had received the results of my latest blood test from my doctor's office. Prior to my surgery I was lucky that I had only one co-morbidity -- my cholestorol was really high. I had been taking medicines for it for years, but it never seemed to drop. Just one month after my surgery -- my cholestorol levels are ALL WITHIN THE GOOD range. My total number is 180. I have to work a little at getting my "good cholestorol" up but other than that all the numbers are well under the target numbers. THAT IS INCREDIBLE! And I don't have to take medicine anymore!!  For me that is clear proof that this has been the best thing I have ever done for my health. I intend to live a good, long and healthy life thanks to this surgery! |
