Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Its the Little "wows" that make me SMILE  I came to the realization this week at work that during meetings I was able to comfortably cross my legs -- that feels SO GOOD!! Also, for the first time in a very long time, my husband is able to put his arms COMPLETELY around me when he gives me a hug -- that feels REALLY GOOD!! I also realized that what used to be my "waddle walk" has begun to come back to my "wiggle walk".  And one more just for laughs -- with the weather getting cooler, I was finally able to wear my "new" fall black leather boots (which I had bought on sale before my surgery) Of course, I had bought "wide calf" boots **LOL** my calfs are NOT as wide anymore!!  I could stick my whole hand inside the calf of the boot when it was zipped up -- that was amazing! But it also means I won't get to wear them too much longer!! Oh well! Any other little WOWs you want to add??? |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Crossing my legs was a big thing for me, almost to big I did it all the time, work, home riding in the car, so much so that I did some nerve damage and had a floppy foot for a while. I could not lift my foot (bend at the ankle). I had to wear a brace for three months to help heal itself. thank gosh it did cause I was always tripping. So be care on how much you do it!! Congrats!!! |
