Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Lab Results I'm so happy  I just got off the phone with my drs office - they have my labs back! Last year my Total Cholesterol was ~263 -- Today it is 154  Also, my blood sugars were sometimes >100 - basically I was pre-diabetic. Today it is 83! Everything was within normal limits. There's that word again - "normal". WOW This is the reason I had WLS. I can actually be healthy. I am truly thankful - to God for bringing me to this point, to my surgeon and doctors for their skill and care, and to you, my wonderful support group - for keeping me sane on this journey!
