Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Diet Controlled Diabetic Had my follow up with my PCP. My lab work came back great. For the first time in 23 years, I am classified as a diet controlled diabetic. I went from 100 units a day of insulin to none during the first 2 months after WLS. This is a great accomplishment for me. No more sleep apnea either... YEAH.
