Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  WLS - My favorite gift Hello all! Hope you are enjoying your holidays. Just thought I'd pop on for an update. I got a cool pedometer for Christmas from DH. Yesterday, I got up real early and did my jog as I expected the day to be too full to exercise. Then when I got the pedometer, I had to walk around the block to ck it out and set the stride, etc. Later, after dinner, a group of us went for a couple of laps around the lake my uncle lives on. I was shocked to see that I took ~18,000 steps yesterday!!! As of this morning, I have lost 83.5 pounds and 52.25 inches. I'm comfortable in my size 16's and feel like a kid again. I am so thankful I had this surgery, a year ago I'd have told you you were crazy if you said I'd be here now, doing what I'm doing. I hoped the surgery would work for me, but this is more than I really could have hoped for. Thank you all for being here to keep me lifted up (no pun intended) and encouraged! Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous and Healthy New Year!!!!
