Well the annual Strawberry Festival here on Long Island was in full swing
for strawberry season so we went last night.
I was [roud to be able to (proly all my kids lifes which is 12 years) I have been unable to accompany them on rides cause of my size. WELL last night i got POP bracelet and rode on rides with the kids! OKAY, some of these rides I havent been on in like 15 years and i have rides fears now but I was able to go on things like RIP Tipe and other fast moveing crazy rides. IT was a blast. I was even able to escort my three year old on
the kiddie rides...flying elephants, sings, dragon rollercoaster and that was
awesome. I wasnt able to do that for my older ones in fear i was just to big too!
THIS was a great night....we stayed late and watched the huge fireworks
show. I did however get a nice reminder of my surgery...I choose to eat
a chicken gyro....figure some of that would be harmless and it was good
of course i only ate about a 1/4.....but I got a pouch reminder and it all
came out. MOST probably was the lettuce...I do have troubles with salad
post op. NOT everyone does but i doo.
All in all is was a great day...I even order ed 4 yards of rock to spread out today
around the pool...its gonna be in the 90's today and i hope to stay in the
pool all day too with the kids between wheelborrow loads of rock!
HOPE everyone has a great weekend and is enjoying time with the fathers and men in there lives

Hey, it sure sounds like you had a blast!!

Hi Lisa,
How cool is that, being able to go on all those rides!!! I, too don't go on rides because of the weight issue. I'm not crazy about the scarey rides anyway but it would be nice to get on the ferris wheel. How nice that you could share these great moments with your kids.
Staying in the pool between the labor sounds like such a great day and fun with the family. What a difference a year can make, huh? You remind me of what I have to look forward to.

Way to go Lisa..I bet you had to be so very proud of yourself, and your family had to feeling the same way.
I hope that I can enjoy these things with my children and my grandaughter....cannot wait to go to the park with her....
This is what life is all about...enjoying these little things we so missed along our bigger days. Cannot wait....!!!!!!!

I am so looking forward to going on rides and seeing if I can overcome my fear of them that I have always had. I know that it would make hubby very happy since he loves rides. Good job lady and enjoy the pool.
