Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Hi Everyone- Newbie here! Hi im Jessica, I live near Boston Massachusetts. I am considering WLS. Tonight I am going to a seminar where I can start with the appointments that are needed. Not sure if my Health Insurance company pays for this or not, but 2 other people have gotten it done from my job. I have not looked at that part yet. I am 27 years old and 310 lbs. I have a really hard time loosing anymore then 10 lbs, even if I eat right and work out like crazy.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.  |

| Whipper Snapper  | Hey Jessica...I guess we are in exactly the same boat. I just had my seminar on 7/8/06. I learned alot of things. But I also learned that you have to do alot more things prior to even gettting a consultaion with a surgeon. I need to still do a psycological test and see a nutitionist. So its a journey but I know this site will help us out with any questions. Good luck sister and I hope all goes well. KIT...
