| Hi, I am Kathy, and I am almost two months out from surgery. I had gastric bypass on January 28. I had to have a second surgery on Feb. 5th due to a hernia that got hungry and decided to invite a piece of my intestine in for lunch. (I sure was a sick puppy). Anyway now I am ok. But full of questions. I have lost about 37 pounds, and have been stuck now for about 2 1/2 weeks, not going down a pound. Is 37 pounds all I get???????? After what I went through, if 37 pounds is all I get, I will be so disappointed .I can't seem to find a protein that I like. I have tried Nectar, Champion, Isopure, and haven't been able to really like any of them. Anyone got any pointers? Happy Easter to all! ![]()

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | No, you will get more than 37 lbs, you may have hit a stall, it was about that time when I hit my first stall and was very frustrating, thought the same thing is this all I get for all of this, well it did go away and I lost more even thou it was only a pound or two a week, it will come off it just take time Hang in there. As for the protein drinks I don't use them I have been able to get my protein in by using foods, so I guess I can't help you out there. I did use unflavored protein powder in some of my drinks for a while when I wasn't able to get it in by the foods. Happy Easter. |

| Super Moderator | Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us. Congratulations on your wonderful weight loss, and no, it isn't all you get. Your body is healing and adjusting right now from two major surgeries, so it needs some time. In the meanwhile, your inches should be moving, and your clothes getting looser, even if the scale seems stuck. You will lose your weight in humps and bumps, not in one smooth fell swoop, so you'll do fine. ((((((HUGS)))) May your journey go well.
