Default Thank you for the support

Thanks everyone who responded to my "I'm new post" and my insurance questions. I have another questions. BCBS of ILL also requires proof over that last 5 years that I was morbidly obese, I am not sure I was for the entire time. What do I do in that instance? I am waiting to hear back from my doctor's office to see. I am so nervous that this is going to be the "glitch" that will keep me from getting the surgery. Its 6 months away and I am already stressing, I can't go 6 months with this worrying!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Do you have any photos through out the years? I know it would be a stretch for me to find any, but if you can find some, that might be proof enough??

Best wishes and I hope it goes smoothly for you!

Yes, I've been to my PCP, WW etc.. but I am not sure if I was morbidly obese during that time period.

I charted my weight loss and gains for the 5 year period to show that I was fighting the obesity and constantly backsliding. No, I wasn't morbidly obese for the whole period because I was trying to lose the weight and gaining it back. Good luck.
