|  **Yet another Newbie here!**
Hi All
Sadly I am yet another curvacious Newbie awaiting weight loss surgery. I have had my initial consultation where a gastric bypass has been agreed. Now I am awaiting on the dates for pre op tests etc.
It can't come quick enough.
I have longed to be slim and have been overweight for as far back as I can remember. I have the slim sister (whose shadow I have lived in forever)and brothers. Its sadly my own fault I am overweight haven eaten far to much! I just love food! I hope the love of food fades as my weight goes down.
Like most of us I have done all the diets, pills and potions with little success and now see this as my final chance of getting where I want to be.
So here's to the oncoming years where I hope my dreams will finally come true x x x x x

Join the club, and read the information you see here. Lurk for a while if you want, but do not be afraid to ask questions. We've all had questions along the way. I go to 3 support meeting per month which helps me, but I also realize that some areas do not have local support groups. Ask your questions, and I bet you get more than one answer.
