Weight Loss Method - |  off topic/ Buyers remorse Today after work I decided to go to Sephora ( a woman's disney world for make up). I bought some skin care products from Philosophy and a small roll on perfume . It came to $156. I bought it because I thought I deserved it or at least at the time but when I got home I freaked. I don't know why I freak out when I buy stuff for myself that costs more than $10. I feel like I don't deserve it. As if for some reason this fat chic doesn't deserve anything. WHY?! Why do I feel this way about myself? Has anyone else ever experience anything like this? Maybe it's just hormones. Sorry, had to vent.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Well, look at it this way - you're ahead of me, I wont even go in there! I wont even shop a Macy's and the like at their cosmetic departments. Nor will I have my hair professionally done - occasionally a cut, but no perms or coloring. I'm not sure if I think I dont deserve it or if I'm just hopelessly frugal. I always laugh at "expendable income" what's that???? Our budget is just too close for such luxuries. Someday, the kids will be off and out of college and then I will consider such things, but for now, I will pray that my Loreal, Dove and other drugstore cosmetics will do the trick. Are you sure it's a personal issue? If so, look at other things you spend money on for other family members. For me it would be DH spending $30 on a batting glove - why do you need a glove to hit a softball? For DD - oh this is easy - everything she wants is at least $50, How much have we spent on clothes, shoes, school activities and trips....... Really, is $156 splurge that much? It's less than your light bill....... If all else fails and it isnt open, just take it back....... You're totally worth it, but what's the point if you dont enjoy it?

Weight Loss Method - | Thanks guys. I needed to hear that I wasn't going crazy. It just seems so strange that I have no problem what so ever buying others things. In fact, it brings me joy to make someone else happy. I don't only buy things for occasions but just because I saw something, it reminded me of that person, so I got it. Believe me I usually do not have $156 is excess money but good old uncle sam was kind enough to return some money that he took
