Hi everyone I am Darla and I am also new here I started looking at the site when I first contemplated surgerly in September 2007, now here I am post-op surgery on 3/31/08 and I feel ok. I had the same feelings that I was taking the easy way out and that maybe I should try another diet to see what happens then I answered myself and if one of the 100 of diets that I tried had worked I would not be thinking of surgery. After the surgery I definety realized it wasn't the easy way out it was a step to a healthier and happier me. Thank you for this site.

Hi Darla. Welcome to the boards. Im Vickie. You will find what you did was not the easy way out what so ever. ( Grrrr) LOL. I hope nobody ever says that to me because im liable to punch them. I had complications right after surgery and its been a few months now for me to recover from that. Yes I would do it again. Continue to come back and post questions or even help anwser some.
