Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Hi everyone I am Darla Hi everyone I am Darla and I am also new here I started looking at the site when I first contemplated surgerly in September 2007, now here I am post-op surgery on 3/31/08 and I feel ok. I had the same feelings that I was taking the easy way out and that maybe I should try another diet to see what happens then I answered myself and if one of the 100 of diets that I tried had worked I would not be thinking of surgery. After the surgery I definety realized it wasn't the easy way out it was a step to a healthier and happier me. Thank you for this site. Darla
