|  Newby here...Hi Hi my name is Virginia, I've been lurking around for some time now, I put in a referral for a bypass about a month ago, so I know I have a ways to go. Tried many diets but have always failed, I kept surgery in the back of my mind and like others, I was really scared, but with all the medical problems I have now, my risk of dieing is higher than doing the surgery...And then I looked at all the before and after pictures of all of you....and the smiles on your faces tell it all, If you look at the before smiles and the after smiles, there is just a look of contentment. I hope that I will have that chance too! I am a single mom and have 4 boys and 3 grandkids. I hope to be healthy to take my grandkids places that I was never able to do with my own kids. Nice to meet you all!
