First off I am so glad I found this place!!! Hi I am Maggie I am 29 years old, and I am having my surgery on Tuesday July 25. I currently weight 268 and I am 5'9" tall. I have been working on getting this surgery for the last year.... I almost can not believe its here...and really its just begining....So I hope you'all dont mind if I join ya!!

Step right up to the microphone...(or speaker).
This is a great board...my support group, actually.
I just made 9 weeks out. I had lap RNY May 17. It has been an interesting and life changing event. I'm excited and happy for you and your July 29 date.
It will be here sooner then you know. Just try and relax between now and then...and stick around. Glad to meet you!

Remember that we are here for you so please keep that in mind when you go through the blues right after, we all do! Hey Maggie. It is so awesome that you found us just in the nick of time. Good luck on your surgery tomorrow. I had my surgery on April 4th of this year and have lost 71 lbs so far as of today. I would deffinately have to say that this was the right decision for me, but know that I would be lost without this site. This site is a God send just like the creator of the website is. There are so many amazing people here to get to know like Doc Sanae to help you along the way. Best of luck and lots of prayers on your part.
