hi all. im new here, but not for m e but for my friend who is having surgery in 3 weeks. she is so worked up as it is her first surgery. i hope i can get good tips for her here, how to cope with pre and post op.

lilacbloom, welcome to the boards, thank you for joining us.
Just being there for your friend is good support. If you go through the boards, I'm sure you know that your friend is at an emotional roller coaster ride, which is quite normal. Be a rock for her, with a good dose of common sense, and I'm sure you'll do fine.
Traverse through the "Family and Loved Ones" section, and I hope you'll find some good perception there.
