Hi all,
I'm a 58 y/o (probably one of the older WLS survivors!) semi-retired nurse. (Gotta have SOME play money! :P) I had open RNY 2/18/02. 240/165/180. Wanna get that durned 15# off again. Severe lack of education/nutritional guidance and also have a problem with Dove dark chocolate Promises.

That problem is getting better since I started taking magnesium. Have developed pernicious anemia and neuropathy and have started B12 shots. I'm also a member of OSSG Graduates. Found them in August and they have been a life-saver. Wish I could have found these types of groups several years ago! Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Everyone, I'm glad to be a part of this new site. My name is Dawn, and I am a four year post op.

I have very much support in my life, and and a support group leader. I think becasue I go to these meetings on a monthy basis and have to stand in front of all these pre-op and newly post-op people, they look to me and the other three leaders for guidence, so I have to stay on track, and that helps me do so. If any one has any questions, please feel free to e-mail me. I hope to get Craig my before and after photos soon!

hi dawn and sharon my name is christy and i thought maybe i would come welcome you two to the forums...it's small yet but gaining speed everyday.if ya ever have questions please ask and craig is awesome he ROCKS and knows a lot.i am only 2 months post op but dang i am sooo ready for life!!its so great now
