Weight Loss Method Weight Watchers |  obrienbus18 Hi to everyone, I am new and have been reading so much information on this site. I had lapband surgery in August of 2006, it was not successful for me and my band has broken. I will be having gastric bypass surgery on june 24. I am concerned because of the work to take out the band and convert to gastric. I am very happy about this, but nervous too! I wish I had just gone with gastric first, but I was talked out of it by family members concerned about the dangers of gastric bypass surgery. It has been a hard 2 years with the excitement of surgery and then being down about the outcome. I am again excited and I am working toward making this a success. I will make the changes necessary to make this a success. Looking forward to letting everyone know how I am doing. Thanks for listening and writing all you have.
