| Newbie |  Crossing My Fingers Hi there I'm new here. I am actually hoping to get gastric bypass done.I am in the process of waiting approval or denial  from Ohip I am in Canada and am hoping to get the surgery done at the barix clinic in Michigan.Does anyone know how long it takes to get approval ???? i'm biting my nails here Tanya  |

It really depends on so much some people get quick answer's and some wait up to years. Don't get discouraged if it takes you longer than sooner, it is definitely worth the wait. Freebird on here I think has OHIP and she is in the middle of a lengthy process but might be able to help you get a better idea. You've come to a great place, make yourself at home!! WELCOME!! |

My Dr's office said it could take anywhere between 7-30 days to get the paperwork processed at the insurance. I am past the 7 but still waiting for the 30. No word yet. Getting impatient. Good luck!!
