Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Another hurdle cleared I did my sleep study last night and while I don't like the results.....I do have sleep apnea and will be getting a cpap machine.....it is the last hurdle before I can be referred to the surgeon. My pulmonologist should have his findings to the clinic by Monday or Tuesday and then hopefully by the end of the week the clinic will have sent my file to the surgeon. With any luck it will only take a couple of weeks to get in and get scheduled. I have lost the weight that the nutrionist wanted me to lose. I am more than ready to get this show on the road!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  | That CPAP machine was literally a life saver for me! The study showed that I was having 90 apneas an hour, which means my breathing was stopping every 40 seconds on average. No wonder I was waking up tired!! From the first night I got it, I noticed a huge improvement, and my wife said that I stopped snoring, and what was even better, I started to breathe evenly throughout the night, with none of those alarming gaps any more. I had a fairly high pressure setting, but it was easy to get used to. I traveled on business with that thing for 3 years all over the US and Canada, and never had a problem with airport security. Now it's sitting unused on my night stand because I no longer need it. Amazing what a 100 pound loss will do for you! Use it regular when you get it, and it'll really help you. You'll be amazed at the improvement!! CT

I call it his girlfriend. LOL. He even goes camping with his. As long as they have a electrical outlet. Its a blessing in disguise acutally that they come up with this machine. It saves lives. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I am so ready for this to keep moving forward. I feel like I am right there. I will be calling my pulmanologist Monday and asking how long before he sends the results over and then will be calling the clinic and asking them to put a rush on referring me. Not in a hurry or anything LOL I know that the machine is going to be a good tool for me. Plus, one more reason to have the surgery! I will be curious to see how many apneas I had. The person doing the test didn't give me my numbers. He just told me that when I was on my back it was really bad. I am a little worried about introducing the machine to my 4 year old but I think that if I do it right, she shouldn't be too scared of it. One thing that I was amazed about during the study is how well I could breathe with it on!
