Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hey Sammee I am glad that you found us. I am also loving the fact that you have picked up on the fact that you are sure to have many welcome you ahead of time...lol. I am glad that you are experiencing such success and that you are so positive. I had my surgery April 4th and have lost 77 lbs since there. I would not change having had this surgery either. I feel like there is hope for a brighter new day in my life and that more options are open to me now. I am almost halfway to my goal weight of 150 lbs. I hope that you stick around and that we get to know you better. Also feel free to post pictures in your posts to let us get to place a face with the name. You can post a face shot in your avatar by going to the user cp tab on the top of the forums page. It is pretty easy to do for the most part, but feel free to ask any questions technical or silly or otherwise that you may have.

Hi Samme,
I had my surgery july 31st and I am down 20 lbs. I am having a tough time getting all of the proteins also. I try to get in all the water, and I eat about 2-3ozs. per meal on average. We will work up to a somewhat larger portion and proteins will come easier with time. Welcome to the boards!!

Thank you all again and for picture Pillows I will wait for a bit to do this. (ashame somewhat, yes)

Same with me with the protein but, as many I do tend to get the water in.
I eat maybe 3 to 4 bites...(wee bit ones) and then I'am full.Only trouble I have right now is avoiding sipping water after I eat....I forget.
I'm getting better day by day.
((hugs)) back to all of you.

Belle, I can identify with you.. I was so used to drinking with my meal that its hard not to drink a little now. Even a few swallows than I have to realize that if I drink there is that much less room in that little tummy. And 1 requriment for me from my DR. is 64 oz's a water a day.
Im trying , I usually get in 50 some but its tough.
