Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Welcome aboard a wonderful ride of your life. You will always feel like this is home for you everytime you log on.
You have already made the decision to make life wonderful again. It isnt an easy journey, there will be a few steps back, and three steps forward, but that is how life is anyway.
Having all the support you can get in personally or online, will keep you a success for many years to come.
I am by far a newcomer to my weight loss surgery. It has been 9 years of the best thing I did for my own health, and life. Yes, by all means journal the whole process. You will be amazed months down the road, what happened when, especially when you are in the other end of the spectrum, helping others after they have had their weight loss surgery.
We are here to encourage and be a cheerleader for you. It really does make a differance. Be around happy, informative people, it rubs off on you. I love this site, is always fun to read, and I love to be cheering others on with their goals.
It rubs off on me, to keep me reminding myself, where I was 9 yrs ago, and how far I have come. I will never ever forget where I started....

Hello everyone!

This is my first time on site as well. My girlfriend told me about forums that would be helpful during my transformation. She found this site. I have decided to get my life back after dealing with my weight for almost 18 years. I have started the process for the weight loss surgery. I have had moy consultation. I just finished with the nutrionist. This week i have to see the pysch and the wellness center. Then the doctor will sign off the papers for me to get it approved by my insurance company. Once thats done i will see surgeon and proceed with scheduling it.

I am a mother of 5 children and i have a wonder husband who is now deployed in Iraq. I want to live and have the quality of life that i know i can have and deserve. My family needs me and i need your support. For those of you who have had the surgery already help!!!! I need to know what to expect and just guidance and support along the way. I hope that this message finds all well. Thanks! Lisa

Congratulations and Welcome! Like you, I wish I had made the decision a long time ago to have the surgery. However, I'm just glad that I finally came to my senses and did it. It's the best decision I've made in my life and I LOVE all the changes, both physically and mentally, that are coming with having the surgery.
