Default Low Vitamin A

Grrrr my vitamin A is STILL low. It was low at my 3 month as well.

I already take an extra supplement of vitamin A, and I get lots of dairy and spinach. I have now added more orange veggies/fruits in my diet like squash and cantelope.

Is it possible I am not absorbing the supplement as I should? My doc had no suggestion except....take a supplement! I changed at my 3 months to Optisource Bariatric Vitamin for better absorption and all my other low numbers recovered at my 6 month, except vitamin A. (vitamin D and iron are now fine)

So any ideas?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Vitamin A may take time. Has the number increased even if it's still in the low range? If it has, then you are going in the right direction. Talk to your PCP, he may have a better idea for Vit A supplements, or it may be just that you may need to double your dose for a while, or, if the number is rising even if it is still low, then just wait another couple of months.
Vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamin, so, you can ge an overdose, once you are out of the deficient range, so be sure to be monitored every 2-3 months if you double the dosage.
