I am new to the board today, too. My surgery is one week from today but I have to fly from Hawaii to San Francisco for my surgery on Tuesday. It's all a little nerve racking at this point, making travel arrangements, getting all those test done and working at the same time. I think by the time Nov 6 gets here I'll be happy just to lie down for a while. I am very excited and not a little anxious as well. I 've never had surgery of any kind, but I've been reading the posts here and have found them really helpful. I'm so glad I found you all on Google!!!I hope to be sharing some success stories of my own soon!!

I had never had any kind of surgery prior either - actually, never even needed a tooth filling, so it was pretty weird for me too - but it all works out - you'll be fine, and before you know it - it's actually over and you are wakeing up
