 |  New Member - WTBslim Hi, My name is Linda my surgery date 10/04/06 looking forward to my new life. I have been looking into having Gastric Bypass for about 6months reading many blogs and books. My surgeon is Dr. Peter Leport he specializes in Gastric Bypass he is out of Fountain Valley, CA.

You will love it here....I came onto the board about 6 weeks before my surgery...and I too believe that you will learn soooo much more post op!! Questions will come up that you didn't even know that you had!! LOL. WOW...you on the motorcylcle....very cool. Good for you!!~ it's amazing how soon your surgery is...if you are anythng like me...it feels a little unreal...I also wondered if it would happen....I kept thinking that something would go wrong... and I wouldn't be able to have the surgery....but - nothing did. My surgery went off without a hitch...and now nearly 5months later I'm nearly 1/2 way to my weight loss goal!! You are going to do great....it'll be here b4 you know it!!
