I know I can't really stop eating Doc. I was just enjoying being a drama queen for a minute. But like you said I should have been measuring inches all along. My clothes are not fitting anymore. I have already retired a bunch of them.

I've hit 2 major stalls since I started 6 weeks ago. I went for my 5 week (actually 6 1/2) week c/u on Wednesday and she didn't think I'd lost enough. So I'm trying to work out more, drink more, eat more protein... I was so good yesterday with everything and I went UP a pound today. *SIGH* I've weighed between 226 and 227 for almost 2 weeks now.

You guys just made my day and helped me chill. Thanks so much! | You are still very very early out. Your body is still in the RECOVERY phase of surgery. Your body will not complete the healing and adjusting to the new plumbing and realigning its functions until you are 3-4 months out. Your weight loss will NEVER happen in one smooth fell swoop, it will go down in humps and bumps, and also take time, after all, how long did you carry the extra weight? What didn't accumilate in a week or two is not going to go away in another week or two--you took years until you were able to have surgery, and you will be able to lose all that in a year or two at most, that is pretty quick
(((((HUGS))))) You'll do fine, don't stress yourself out, especially this early, allow your body to heal, and stick to YOUR surgeon's program to insure success.
