DO: Follow your doctor's rules, exactly, without modification or creative interpretation. That's basically it. Protein first (all of it!!), veggies/fruit second, carbs if there's room. And be sure to get in at least a half-gallon of water each and every day. There is a reason we stress this so much, and that is because you need it for the body to do what you want it to.
DON"T: Shrug any part of those instructions off as unimportant. Your doc's done more of these than you'll ever be involved in. S/he knows what works and what doesn't, and s/he's giving you the absolute best and latest techniques for success. Anything you can do to alter them will reduce their effectiveness. That's why you hired the pros!
DO: Trust us on this!! Been there, done that, there're a whole bunch of folks here who know where you are and what you're experiencing because we've all gone through it. We'll help anyway we can, but there's only one person who can make it happen.
DO: Keep feeling good! It gets way better, too!!!
