Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi and welcome! You've joined the greatest place on the web.... welcome to the family!

Advice would be to make sure you know all your options i.e. lap band, gastric bypass etc - check out the Weight Loss Surgery Channel | Lap Band |Gastric Bypass | Gastric Sleeve They have some really good instructional films on the different procedures and interviews... you can watch it right in your computer.

For example they explain the difference between lap band and gastric bypass at Band vs Bypass.

Next make sure whatever procedure you select, that there are no "dealbreakers". i.e. possibilities you could not deal with if it happened to you.

Take your time - decisions are always made better slowly than in a hurry. And this is a very life changing decision. As most folks will tell you, research, research, research. And keep in mind whatever you choose, it's not the "easy way out" or a "quick fix" but a life change. WLS patients work just as hard as anyone else however with that work, you can get great results... but as everything else is in life, it's a trade-off...

And come here often - there is lots to read!
Good luck!
