Default Posting for the first time ....

Hello everyone, my name is Landa and I've recently joined renewedreflections. I've visited the site from time to time, but, never made the committment to join.

After visiting the weightlosssurgery channel and seeing the association, I figured why continue to fight fate?

I'm from Philadelphia and had my bypass surgery with Dr. Meilhan over @ Temple. I'll be celebrating a year anniversary next month and I'm getting a little nervous.

Which was another reason why I joined. I eat like I'm supposed to and workout 4-5 a week. I'm still dealing with the emotional effects of the surgery, but, I'm not a bad as I use to be. I still sometimes don't recognize the person in the mirror...

Don't get me wrong, coming from 485 to 310, I'm happy to be where I'm at. It's just that sometimes I get a little discouraged.

Anyway, that's enough of me for now, I look forward to checkin out the different posts and hope to pick up some pointers on dealing with everything.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Welcome to the board and you have done a great job with the weight loss. I also look in the mirror and do not see what other people see. But it is getting better and is am going to have to give myself time becasue I was so heavy for most of my life and it is just like i am a brand new person now. Things I do now I would have never done before I lost all this weight.
