Smile Pre-Op RNY Newbie
Just starting the process of gastric bypass. I went to my orientation last Wednesday and now tomorrow (March 2nd) I am going to my first consulate with Dr. Rehnke, in St. Petersburg, Florida. I have to drive about 2 hours one way, but he is the only one I have found to accept my insurance, and its worth my health to drive that far.

I am a mother of 3, a grandmother of 10. I live just north of Orlando, Florida and I am married. I have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, and I have a condition to the right side of my heart where the diabetes made my arteries smaller on one side, plus I have arrhythmia.

So I am seeking RNY to better my health, not really to be skinny.

i also started a youtube video on my journeyof weight loss if you want to look at it. Just started so not much on there right now.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
