This morning we packed the car and headed in to my work, planning to leave straight from there when my classes were over. I got back to the office, and found Peanut talking to the surgeon's office on the phone. They called her to tell her something, and now we're heading back home again. <grumble, grumble>
Seems they have some new policies at the hospital, and Peanut doesn't meet one in particular. To prevent the possibility of identity theft and having the hospital do the surgery on the wrong patient, they require photo ID, so we have to go home and get her driver's license. Who takes her license to surgery? (Sheesh!!!)
Minor setback, no big deal, we have lots of time programmed to deal with it.
They also told her that she has to be on clear liquids, not the nasty liquid protein diet. So all the food she has carefully prepared is inadmissable. Guess who got to eat her hyped up chocolate pudding?

I'm just brimming with protein now!!
Other than that, all systems go for a smooth operation this time. She reports tomorrow morning at 6:30. I'll spare you the updates on her personal prep tonight, but I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow!
