| Lesson learned Well I learned a valuable lesson last night after eating dinner....that is the importance of EATING SLOW...for the first time since my surgery 5 weeks ago I and I don't really care to do that again. I guess old habits are hard to break. I knew I was going to get sick after I inhaled my tiny bit of food. I don't know what I was thinking, I knew better than that, but it was a lesson learned!

Awww, yes it's a tough lesson. You probably let yourself go too long between meals, at least that's what happens with me when I eat too fast. It's because we're eating out or I'm cooking a fancy meal or whatever and and I hold off eating when I should. THen when the food is finally ready I have trouble controlling how fast I swallow. Of course, one or two bites into the meal I am "reminded" that I have to slow dow, but sometimes the damage is already done.

Awe, sorry you had a hard time. I think we've all learned a lesson or two and most of them have been learned the hard way. Hope you're feeling better.

Been there and done that too, afterwards you just want to kick yourself for eatings so fast and making your pouch upset. I always have to remind myself to slow down.

Hooo! Thanks for the reminder! I think I'm starting to eat to fast lately, or too mindlessly. I needed that reminder of what would happen.

| I guess I'm too scared as to what might happen for me to eat too fast. I'll admit though that I've been putting more on my fork/spoon lately than when I first started, and I'm drinking more. I'll make sure I go back to watching every amount I eat/drink. I've always hated , and I sure don't want to do it now. It would probably freak me out. Slow down gal. The food is not going anywhere. And remember, don't wait so long to eat and you'll be OK.
