| Newbie | Hello everyone! I see some of my girls who are near and dear to me post here which is fabulous! They have been so supportive to me through everything and I love them! LisaMarie is a very dear person to me and my family. She has one heart of gold. I do look forward to getting to know many of you guys who I do not know yet!Ok now on to a REALLY summed up version of my horror story. I had my RNY 2/2/05, which was followed up by another surgery b/c of a SBO on 2/7/05. I was in the hospital for two months (a month in the ICU on a ventilator). I did almost expire a couple of times...but I didnt. I seemed to always be having an operation and/or in the hospital for one reason or another since my surgery. Oh well, it happens. I had another surgery on 8/05 to remove adhesions and a kink on the bypassed part of my intestines. I had another surgery to remove my gallbladder on 10/05. I had another SBO that required surgery on 1/06 and I just had recontruction done on my bypass this August to help resolve a chronic rare complication called, 'roux stasis syndrome.' I was on a PICC line for TPN b/c I could not stablize my weight (My lowest was about 80 something pounds(!!)I am 5'2. I started off at about 260). I have gained from the TPN and FINALLY being able to eat to 103 now. I have been taken off the TPN which I am so so happy for b/c I was really sick of having plugs in me, yucky! This has been a very loooong and hard journey for me but I have been feeling ALOT better since the last surgery. I am very pleased to finally have a chance to move on from being sick girl to semi-normal girl! Anyway, I am married ,27 ,and I graduated from NYU but I stay at home to take care of my four year old son, who is the light of my life! My husband is a very supportive wonderful guy who has been by my side (literally) through out all of this. Support is just so so important (from family and friends) through this journey. I look forward to making some new friends on this website b/c OH is making my head spin nowadays! Hee-Hee. I will post up some pictures when I figure out how to do that! Forgive me, I am a little slow when it comes to stuff like that! Take care and feel good!! ![]() Tavia |

Height: | Hey Tavia, I am glad that you decided to join us here. We seem to have a comfy cozy family group going and it is always nice to have a new addition to the group. I am sure that if Lisa Marie loves ya it is only a matter of time before we all do. Janae |
