Hi,

I signed up on to this web site back in June and I remembered your picture. Wow you look really good, you lost a lot of weight since the last time I saw your picture. I have not posted any comments I didint know how until today. I'm still a little new at this. Well I was hoping you could help with some advise. My surgery is scheduled for this Monday October 23rd and I'm little nervous. My husband is deployed in Korea and I will have to have the operation without him by myside. I see him again in Feb 1st 2007. I really have never had any type surgery never even broken a bone in my body thankfully. Now I've decided to take this huge step to better my health. Well any advise you or anyone else you know would be greatly appreciated. I'm really scared and Nervous thanks

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Welcome to the board, BJ. Thank you for joining us.
I've taken the liberty of copying your post from the original thread to here, as the help you need is not quite consistent with the theme of the thread and the forum it's in.
You'll get more reaction to what you need here.
I hope you won't mind.
((((((HUGS))))))) May your journey go well.

HI BLUEJEANS!
SO glad you have found the forums!
ITS a great place for support and friendships.

ITS very normal to be afraid. We all flip flopped at
one point on weather or not to have surgery. THE
hard things is everyones experience from the surgery
varies. I know for me i weened myself quickly off the
pain meds, some need them a bit longer. I found the
pain tolderable but experienced more discomfort from
the GAS in my insides from the surgery. TO me this was
a small price to pay for the good health i would be blessed
with post op. BEFORE surgery i was just a stroke or heart
attack victim waiting to happen at anytime. NOW I am healthy,
tons of energy and feel great.

ALL the best on your sugery!
AND i wish you a perfect uncomplicated surgery.

((((HUG))))

Hey Blue Jeans I hope that everything went well for you on your surgery. I really do hope that you will contact me and let me get to know you. What branch of service is hubby serving in? My hubby is in the Air Force so I can kinda sympathize and we can commisserate as to the woes of Tricare together. I hope that I get to hear from you soon.

Hope all is going well after your surgery. Try to walk and drink water as much as you can and rest, rest, rest. Your DH will be home in no time and he will ogle you with his eyes and it will all be worth.

Congrats on your new life!
