Hello, My name is Bonnie and I am so excited to find such a great place as this. I have no joined till now,but I have been following along as I been getting ready for my WLS.I am on my 5th month pre surgery.I have completed my pysc,stress test,endo,have pulmonary and nutrition eval yet to go.have my surgeon lined up and just doing all my insurance requires. I am excited as well as nervious.I know that I have a new life in my sights and it is going to be a lot of hard work and many changes.My husband is supportive and that will help along the way. I just want to live a life without being over weight. I am praying that you all may hold my hand and be there for my journey. I am looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome, Bonnie! I won't hold your hand, 'cause my wife's around here somewhere and I don't want her to get the wrong impression,  but we're glad you've joined our merry family. 
My wife had RNY last month. When I first mentioned it a couple of years ago for me, she was dead set against it, but I went ahead and got the process started, and in a few months she came around to "letting" me have surgery. She watched my results and decided that's what she wanted for herself, so she's doing well in her own right now. If you see Peanut around, that's her. (Needless to say, she has her husband's full support, too!)
Read as much as you can here, use the search feature and research everything you can think of. What you can't find, just ask and you'll only get a dozen or two responding with their experiences. You'll like it here!
