Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

To do: Start living now according to the rules - no drinking with eating (30/30 rule), get in enough protein and water, chew slowly and take 20 minutes to eat your meal, etc., etc. Form good habits pre-op and it's easier to slip back into them post-op. You'll have enough going on then as it is without learning a whole new way of relating to food.

Study in the archives, educate yourself on what's going to happen, how it's going to happen, and how we have all responded to things that didn't go as planned, or that we didn't think were going as planned. The more you arm yourself with knowledge, the better your outcome will be. There is a huge head game involved in success. Study it now and prepare for your turn at bat!

Not to do: wait for it to happen to you. You want to be in control of the process, not a passenger.

Good luck!

Richierich, Congrats on your upcoming surgery date, you must be nervous, and excited all in one. I know when I get my date, I will be so excited !!
I have my surgeons & dieticians last appt. today, and they now will submit my results to my insurance Co. I hope they don't deny me the surgery. The Dr. said it takes anywhere from 2 to 6 wks to hear from them, so I will keep my fingers crossed
