| Big Loser | Hi everyone, I just found this site. I hope to be a frequent poster. I'm hoping to get to know a lot of you and hear your stories and share mine. I'm 47, married, caregiver to my older brother who lives with me and has downs. Overweight all of my life, obese all of my adult life, I started looking into WLS a couple of years ago. Did lots of research and finally took the plunge. The best thing I ever did for myself. I had RNY about 3 1/2 months ago. I have lost about 70 pounds so far (WOW, I'm totally AMAZED!). I feel incredible, I'm actually exercising for the first time in my life (and enjoying it too!). I have a lot more to lose (my goal is to lose another 130 - 200 total). I have a great job, great family. A bunch of pets. A few grandkids. Lots of friends. Any questions, comments? I'll be around. Hugs to all - RobinZ

| Super Moderator | Welcomw RobinZ. Grandkids, wow, I envy you. I'm a mite older than you are, and both my daughters are still single, though I had them when I was their age. Well, these days, the young 'uns seem to be more intent on making a go at work, before making a go at family. I do want them happy, so they can take their time finding Mr. Right, I guess.

| Big Loser | Hi DocSanae and thanks for the welcome. I cheated though - although I consider them my grandkids, and they consider me their grandmother, I am actually their STEP grandma as their parents are my step kids! So, I got to have grandkids without having to deal with having and raising kids! How lucky am I??? I love my grands though and I really love spoiling them!
