Hi Everyone, I just found this site, I think. I don't have a memory anymore, mine's turned into a forgettery lately!!! Anyway, I had my WLS 5/9/05 and have lost 110 lbs and I'm stuck right now, but not sweating it. I was thin up until age 28 and then went over 200. I looked into this surgery for about 5 years before I had the courage to have it. I went into my surgery with total confidence that this was for me and so calm. I am a new person now. I finally, after 28 years, like what I see in the mirror. I am wearing a size 12-14 pants, down from 3-x, a large top, down from 2-x and also finally wearing size 12 - 14 dresses!!! WHOOO HOOO!!! I am 56 yrs young, have one hubby, two grown sons, 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters all between 10 and 2. I had my surgery done at Ohio State University Hosps with Dr. Needleman, whom I love to death!!! Knock on wood, no complications yet. Other than meat and I don't like each other anymore. I just figured out tonight, I do not like the texture of meat in my mouth anymore, and I use to love all kinds of meats. Weird, I know. The "other" obesity help site I came here from gave me all the support, love and answers I needed to have this life saving surgery. I started out having severe arthritis in my knees, hips and upper and lower back. Now they don't hurt that much, weather permitting that is!!! Ohio in the winter is a brute. I was on blood pressure medicine, I've been off of it since week one after surgery. I am also on arthritis meds with a promise of having both knees replaced within 10 yrs. Last night I had a wonderful "wow moment". I went to visit my friends Dad who had died. The rest of the family hadn't seen me since losing 110 lbs. I got out of my car and met Steve, I've been friends with his Mom since we were 2 yrs old and around him since before his birth. I said Hi Steve. He politely said Hi. But I got the sense he didn't know me. So I asked him if he knew me. He looked hard at me and said no. His sister was just getting out of her car and heard my voice and knew me that way. She said it's Susie. Steve looked at me and his eyes got big, his mouth fell open and he said OH WOW!!! and gave me a big hug. I loved it!!! Anyway, hope to read lots of good stories here, get lots of good help and give some too. I'm a very happy camper where this surgery is concerned. Have a great day!!! Hugs, Susie

Hi SUSIEQ, welcome to the board.
Wow, you look great, but I have to scroll.......
Do you have some sort of photo management software? Like Adobe's Photoshop Lite or Elements? If you do, you can resize the pic yourself. Cut it down to about 10% of what it is now, and I think it'll be about the right size.
If not, I think Craig can do the job, I think, but that's going to be loading too much on him....
