I am on to insurance approval now!!! I haven't been this excited about this since my first month of starting the process. I know that insurance approval can take a while, and I am prepared to wait. This will give me time to get everything in order so that I can have a smooth surgery and post-op. Losers bench here I come!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

It depends upon the insurance company and what policy you acutally have. You might be suprised and get it though faster then again it could be slow. They have a deadline however to approve it. They all do. So... you might wanna call them and ask the turnaround time. I dont know what type of insurance you have but TRICARE is 3 days max.

Thank you all for your support, I am very happy that I'm not crazy.
I have Medicaid, I hope that will end up being a good thing for me.
They have been pretty good about the process, they preapproved
some of what I had to do with my surgeon to get through it all.
You know, they said I wasn't crazy, but it feels like this last part of
the process is going to leave me a little nuts, I think I lied about
being patient.
