Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | everyones rate of losing is different. I was worried I was lossing too fast!! I'm also a big over acheiver and set goals all the time for myself to keep on track. As long as you are given the thumbs up by your dr, you'll be fine. Besides, my doc said it was normal the first few months to lose 1 lb a day... 10/3 - 11/7 at 30#s is just about that. Drink your water and take walks... you'll be fine Welcome to the board

Hey there HH~ I saw you post on "the new guy" thread and thought I'd welcome you...and tell you you are doing great!! You've only been a little over a month post op...and you've lost 30#!! WOW....that is awesom. Some have lost 20# some loose 30# I think at that time I'd only lost about 32# - so I think you are right on track!! It is sooo early in your game...but the surgery will do the work itself for the first few months. It will work itself out ~ really, trust me! The only "job" you have that I can think of is the following:
THIS website is an amazing SUPPORT GROUP!!

| Super Moderator | Heather Hanna, welcome to the board, thank you for joinig us. I have split your post and started a new intro thread for you. Everyone deserves an independent thread. As for your weightloss, congratulations, you are doing very well!! When was the last time you lost 30lb in a month, if ever? I am sure, you know from your pre-op research that the weightloss is not instantaneous. It takes 18-24 months for any to reach goal. Your body will keep the pace that is right for you, not someone else's pace. Trust in yourself, trust in what your dr says, and you will be fine. (((((((HUGS))))))) May your journey go well.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | YOUR DOIng fine!! Just follow the pouch rules and the weight WILL fall off! DONT COMPARE we all loose differently. Were i stopped looseing a while ago she has kept looseing and caught up. I wanted to link my post but its not working. http://www.renewedreflections.com/fo...ght+comparison YOU will get there at your bodies own pace and SHELLEY can back that up totally from her experience. | thanks for all the words of encouragement. I go to the gym everyday to try and exercise, well almost everyday. I have 3 boys and they keep me moving. I have noticed that I get cold alot more now. Has anyone had problems with different meats? It seems like if I eat pork, I get sick. Any suggestions?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | hey HH! as far as getting cold! LETS just say im always freezin, winter time is hard and the only time i wasnt cold was this summer when the temps in my house hit 94. My family hated me cause i didnt want central air on for the first time ever! GO FIGURE for meat is giving me horrible times always has. FOR one thing if my meat is precooked in advance! NOPE wont stay down. JUST tested that with a stew that was cooked on sunday served last night got evil sick on that. AND this time i cant say it was me not chewing well cause the meat was fall apart tender. I am getting frustrated with me and meat lately. BEcause the junk dont get me sick but the meats get me. I dont know do i not chew well do i eat fast i dont know, but dont worry its to be expected. I do keep my protein up with my protein shakes, puddings, cheese and bars.
