| Newbie | Hello, my name is Tom I am 40, I am just about 7 months post-op (April 18th to be exact). I have been big all my life and I said enough is enough 3 years ago. After battleing with my employers insurance company turning me down, I went on disability as for the final straw was drawn. Infact, a stranger approached me at a gas station. With a note, saying she had just had it done 2 years ago, that was back in 2003 and now I wish I had that note, because I would love to give that gal a call and thank her, she is the one that said, medicaid would pay for it. So I quit my job as a security dispatcher and started the process. Here I am today on the losing side. Working the tool that has saved my life. I started out at 536 lbs a week before WLS and today I am down to 386 lbs thats -150lbs. I just joined a gym club last Monday and going to work up to going to it every weekday after a couple weeks of going for 3 days a week. I got a trainer to help me out. So I hope to make my next personal goal of losing 50lbs by New Years. Well thats a bit about me. Take care,
